PRIDE

Pride leads to shame (Proverbs 11:2)

When pride comes, disgrace follows,

but with humility comes wisdom.

Pride leads to arguments (Proverbs 13:10)

Arrogance leads to nothing but strife,

but wisdom is gained by those who take advice.

Pride will be punished (Proverbs 16:5)

 Everyone with a proud heart is detestable to the Lord;

be assured, he will not go unpunished.[

There is no place for proud boasting in the Christian life (Romans 3:27)

Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By one of works?

No, on the contrary, by a law of faith.
